A well-made 400 TC sheet can outperform a poorly built 1000 TC one. What actually decides how a sheet feels is the sum of four things:
Sateen, for a sheen that catches the light.
Sateen weaving lays more yarn on the surface, which is what gives it that smooth, faintly lustrous hand-feel — a favourite in luxury bedrooms, hospitality suites and homes that lean towards a more polished bed. Prefer something crisper and matte? That's a different weave, and just as valid a choice.

A 72×78" mattress that's 8" thick and one that's 15" thick cannot share a fitted sheet. Depth decides whether it tucks securely or pulls off by morning — which is why every custom order starts with three numbers, not two.

Can you make a fitted sheet for a non-standard mattress?
That's most of what we do. Send us length, width and depth, and we cut to those numbers rather than the nearest catalogue size.
What's better - 400 TC or 600 TC?
Neither, on its own. A well-made 400 TC sheet can feel better than a poorly built higher-count one. Fibre, yarn, weave and finishing matter as much as the number.
Can I get custom pillow covers to match?
Yes — useful if your pillows don't match a standard cover size, or if you're coordinating a full bedding set.
